So what options are their for phone makers concerning touchscreen smartphones? large touchscreen, 1-3 facebuttons, rectangle shape, preferably thin.

People can't seem to understand that the touchscreen replaced the number pad so there is no need for more then a couple face buttons, and the rectangle shape has been the shape of all phone...

Galaxy s3 looks ugly due to them designing it so that it looks clearly different, but apple is basically trying to say anything that's rectangle shaped with a touchscreen = IPHONE COPY!!!!!!!
Also the note has a huge ass screen(so does S3) how the hell could anyone mix them up when you put them next to each other?

I had almost finished writing up a wall of text(with paragraphs though) about how it would be near impossible for sony to have 2gb ram but realised that it was a waste of time.
Ram is something that starts off somewhat expensive but becomes cheap after a couple years, sony want to keep their 10 year plan so they will not cheapen out on a part of the system that screwed them over this generation.

Now phones are reaching power levels that most people will need, there will be a greater focus on picture quality of the screen and battery life, LCD is inferior in both of those aspects.

It is indeed a rubbish article, the problem seems to be the cover and not the ipad itself.
Apple will indeed be around for many years, but i believe that their stock price will crash within the next decade and take some of the air out of them.

Also the next series of graphic cards and i think Intels new CPUs will be out in the first half of 2012 which should be a decent jump in performance, so if your able to wait you might want to.
